All participants ideally will be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Tour guides and drivers will do the same.

Participants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance, including Medical, Covid-19 and Cancellation Coverage.

  • What is included in this trip?

    All lodging, ground transportation, park entry fees, and guides, as well as some meals

  • What is not included in this trip?

    Your airfare to and from Texas, gratuities, personal purchases

  • What is the Cancellation/Refund Policy?

    Cancellation is possible until 90 days prior to the trip, and later if the spot can be filled from a waiting list. 50% refund may be possible up to 30 days prior to the trip depending on hotel policiesl. Stripe credit card processing fees (7%) are non-refundable.

  • Do I need any vaccinations?

    Just your Covid vaccine!

  • What will the climate be like?

    The climate will range from warm some days (possibly as hot as 80f) to chilly at night (lows in the 40s) - bring a light jacket and fleece or sweater, and a wool hat and gloves just in case it’s cold. Most days will be pleasant and in the 60s, with nights in the 50s.

  • What altitudes will we visit?

    We’ll be on almost entirely flat ground at sea level. Trails are well-groomed, with some paved and some dirt or gravel paths and wooden boardwalks.
