Most NYC birders are familiar with the Ramble, but fewer visit the north end of Central Park, which includes equally productive woodlands, waterways, and meadows. The Pool, Loch, Ravine, and North Woods together constitute one of the wildest and most beautiful areas of Central Park.

This outing follows both paved and unpaved paths and may include some steps and steep inclines. Restrooms are available towards the beginning of the route.
