FREE Fall Bird Walks at The Battery

Join us for a bird walk at The Battery with NYC Audubon! Explore the diversity of migrating birds that find food and habitat in The Battery. RSVP is required for participation.

The walk will be led by Gabriel Willow, an experienced birder and naturalist, well-versed in the ecology and history of New York City. He has been leading walks for NYC Audubon for twenty years, guiding new and experienced birders in all five boroughs and beyond.

COVID-19 Policy for Events:

  1. We encourage any event participants that are not vaccinated against COVID-19 to please wear a mask while participating in our public programs.

  2. We ask that participants stay home if feeling sick or if they've had a known COVID-19 exposure in the last 5 days.

After the walk, we hope you will linger to enjoy the nation's largest perennial garden open 365 days free to the public. Learn more about The Battery at www.thebattery.org.

The Battery is located at the southern tip of Manhattan. Take the 1 train to South Ferry, the R train to Whitehall Street, or the 4 or 5 train to Bowling Green.

RSVP is required for participation.
