Itinerary:

Feb. 26: Fly into San Jose, stay at the Hotel Robledal (dry forest habitat)

Feb. 27 & 28: Travel to Monteverde, stay at the Jaguarundi Lodge (cloud forest habitat)

Mar. 1 & 2: Heliconias Nature Lodge (sustainable eco-lodge in foothill forest habitat, with over 440 bird species and nearby hot springs)

Mar. 3 & 4: Travel to Refugio de Vida Silvestre Caño Negro (remote lowland jungle wetlands on the Nicaraguan border) for waterfowl and other wildlife. Explore the wetlands by boat, stay in air conditioned comfort at the Natural Lodge Caño Negro

Mar. 5: Back to San Jose, stay at Hotel Robledal

Mar. 6: Flight home (SJO)
